Designer Crafts Connection Blog Hop - Easter

Welcome to the second Designer Crafts Connection Blog Hop. This month's theme is Easter or Spring.

I do a lot of thrifting and a lot of crafting and wanted to create an upcycled Easter Egg project. Everything here is thrifted.

These eggs were created first using plastic Easter Eggs as the foundation. I hot glued on various sizes of white buttons, allowing the color of the plastic egg to show through. This is a great way to use tiny white buttons.

Next, I wrapped vintage lace around the middle and tied sheer ribbon in various shades of pastels. As a final touch, I added vintage embellishments of a rhinestone earring, millinery flowers and an old key.

These are displayed on painted wooden pieces that I thrifted here. After painting the wood I lightly sanded them to give a more distressed appearance.

I have been creating all kinds of unique Easter Eggs for the past few weeks so please check out my Easter {Sewing} Basket and Tissue Paper Eggs before continuing through the blog hop using the Designer Crafts button on the right. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoyed this project.

  43. Bedroom Tiles Latest collection dealers in India
A Perfect Blend of Comfort, Style, and Practicality
Choosing the right bedroom tiles design floor can be a daunting task with so many materials and styles available in the market. However, understanding the balance between aesthetics, comfort, and durability can make the decision-making process much easier. Your bedroom is your sanctuary, a space for rest and relaxation, and the floor plays a significant role in creating an inviting and comfortable environment. With the right flooring, your bedroom can become a place of luxury and tranquility, where each step is a reminder of the thoughtful design choices you’ve made.
Tiles offer the perfect blend of practicality and style, providing comfort without compromising on beauty. One of the most popular choices for bedroom tiles today is luxury vinyl flooring (LVF), which combines the best of both worlds—natural wood or stone looks with the durability and easy maintenance of vinyl. The soft texture of LVF provides a comfortable feel underfoot, making it an ideal choice for those looking to enjoy a cozy atmosphere in their bedroom without sacrificing functionality. Plus, the variety of finishes available allows you to choose between textures that mimic hardwood, stone, or even marble, depending on your design preferences.
Another great option for bedroom tiles design floor is ceramic and porcelain tiles, known for their durability and versatility. Ceramic tiles are especially popular for their low maintenance and resistance to stains, moisture, and wear. They come in various finishes, including matte, glossy, and textured, each offering a unique look and feel. Matte tiles are often used to create a relaxed, soft ambiance, while glossy tiles can add sophistication and a modern touch to your bedroom. Additionally, with porcelain tiles, you can enjoy a wide array of styles, from traditional to contemporary, ensuring there is a perfect match for your room’s overall design.
For those who appreciate timeless luxury, natural stone tiles such as marble, slate, and travertine can provide an elegant and refined aesthetic. Marble, with its unique veining, brings a touch of opulence to the bedroom, while slate tiles offer a more rustic and earthy charm. These tiles also ensure long-lasting durability, making them a worthwhile investment for homeowners who want to create an enduring sense of luxury and style in their bedroom. Natural stone tiles also maintain a naturally cool temperature, providing a refreshing feel during hot months.
Lastly, incorporating radiant floor heating systems with bedroom tiles design floor enhances the comfort factor. This system is ideal for colder climates and offers an indulgent, spa-like experience. By pairing the luxury of heated floors with the timeless elegance of tiles, you create a perfect combination of comfort and style, ideal for those looking to add both luxury and practicality to their bedrooms
